Business Visits

Following the global financial crisis of 2008 business travel to the UK has seen a severe downturn.  In October 2009 there were 26% less international business visitors travelling to the UK than in 2007.  However, the market is slowly regenerating and most countries are now technically out of recession.

In these changing times VisitBritain’s up to date statistics on business visits are a useful analysis tool.  Detailed business tourism data, some dating back to 1993, offers a wealth of information to analyse variables of visits from modes of travel used to country of residence.
