The Argyll & Islands Strategic Tourism Partnership exists to coordinate and develop proposals for growing and developing the visitor economy by combining the strengths of industry, the local authority and government agencies.
By agreeing practical measures and supporting projects and initiatives with a combination of expertise, experience and funding, the partnership has the capacity to lead on regional tourism strategy and influence political imperatives. Industry representatives and local marketing groups share a decision-making platform to determine and deliver the best prospects for growth and sustainability across the region.

Tweed Valley Tourist Consortium
The Tweed Valley Tourist Consortium is a marketing group of over 75 tourism businesses that have come together to promote the Tweed Valley as a world class activity destination. Through collaboration their key objective is to encourage visitors to stay longer and spend more.
The group began in 2003 as the Tweeddale Tourist Consortium and has gone on to become a shining example of effective teamwork, winning numerous awards and industry praise along the way. Destination Loch Ness Ltd (DLN)
Destination Loch Ness Ltd (DLN) is a private sector led organisation which works in partnership with the public sector for the benefit of tourism and the communities around Loch Ness.
DLN was established in May 2006 by a small number of businesses who felt that the visitor experience of Loch Ness needed to be improved. Today the organisation has approximately 90 member businesses. Each member business pays an annual membership fee to be part of the organisation.

Breadalbane Tourism Group
The Breadalbane Tourism Group has launched a range of ready-made visitor packages celebrating the glorious outdoors and diverse larder of this fascinating region, in a bid to increase low season business.
The initiative grew from the area’s participation in a ‘Planning to Succeed’ pilot programme, part-funded by Scottish Enterprise.
