Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS)
Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS) was created in April 2003, serving as the branch of the Scottish Government that advises on and implements forestry policy and manages national forest areas. It aims to “protect and expand Scotland's forests and woodlands and increase their value to society and the environment.”
FCS has five conservancies spread across Scotland, which provide advice and information on forestry to woodland owners, including details about grant support.
